Senior Conservation Technician, Rare Books, ECS – Browns Summit, NC
Anna received her Associate’s in Applied Science Degree in Advertising and Graphic Design from Randolph Community College in 2006. After completing an internship with a design company she realized she would prefer to use her hands, and not an impersonal computer, to create art.
In August of 2006 Anna began work as a Conservation Technician at ECS. She has trained and honed her manual skills under the supervision of ECS senior conservators and Don Etherington in the art of rare book conservation. She has merged her talent and independent studies in conservation to achieve her personal objectives fulfilling the need to exercise her hand skills in a rewarding profession.
