Brian Crean received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Dayton in 1990. In 1997, he accepted a Holderness Fellowship and completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture and Printmaking from the University of 
North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to his current position as Registrar, Brian has worked as both a Conservation Technician and Digital Imaging Technician for ECS. Interested in photography, his responsibilities also include managing the ECS photo-archive.
Brian’s personal interests are diverse as well. He has been an Adjunct Member of the Guilford County Open Space Committee and a member of the Executive Board of the Historic Wafco Mills Homeowner’s Association. He is a published free-lance writer and photographer, as well as an avid runner.
