Senior Conservation Technician, Paper, ECS – Browns Summit, NC
Erin received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting, with a focus in art history, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In 2004, she completed an internship in the paintings conservation laboratory at the North Carolina Museum of Art studying with Bill Brown and Noelle Ocon.
Erin joined the staff of ECS in 2005 and fully immersed herself in perfecting her manual skills and advancing her knowledge in the field of conservation. Another passion of Erin’s is the creation of elaborate yet functional hand knit children’s toys.
