About ECS
Etherington Conservation Services (ECS) has been serving libraries, museums, local, state and federal agencies, and private collectors for over twenty years. We are pleased to offer our conservation and preservation services to the caretakers of book, paper and photographic collections nationwide. Our digitization department provides clients with the option to scan and capture information for online access and reference. The newly established Grant Assistance Program can provide technical writing support for grant applications allowing institutions with limited personnel resources to meet their funding objectives.

The ECS main office is located in Browns Summit where the art on paper and photographic materials are treated, in addition to rare books. Our conservation staff is available to speak to you about conservation treatment options for your books, manuscripts, ephemera, artwork, photographs or other collections on paper.
ECS and its conservators are members of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC). All treatments comply with the Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice of AIC.
